Jakkalsvlei is situated at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain in the southern Cape which is 40km from the Indian Ocean. The farm produces roughly 300 000 liters annually from 50Ha of operating vineyards.

This wine is characterised by a sweeping spread of rich fruit and is given texture and resonance from generous oaking with an admirable harmony of flavours ranging from ripe peach to citrus peel and lemon accompanied by toasted pine nuts. The finish is fresh with a lasting creamy texture. The long aging potential will reward patient cellaring.
