JHG wines are created in the heart of Swellendam on their farm situated on the most southern tip of the Robertson Wine valley along the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains where they produce it in small batches.
Their unique position borders with the dry conditions of the Karoo as well as the cool sea breezes from the Coastal Regions and therefore, the direction of their vineyard planting runs from East to West. The JHG philosophy is to create delicious single-block wines – the smallest production unit for vineyards that may not exceed six hectares per cultivar.

Bright and generous, 2020 exudes ripe, tropical aromas of melon, mango and pineapple plus a hint of exotic honey. Similar flavour richness and persistence is intensified by taut, natural freshness, which gives the wine an overall sense of lightness. Very moreish!
