A Red Muscadel made from the ancient vines, Red Muscadel and Muscat du Hambourg. This is the only vineyard in South Africa to be declared a Conservation Worthy Property by the Board for National Monuments. The label of Oupa se wyn (Grandfather?s wine) bears a picture of Klaas Jonker, the founder of Weltevrede and great-grandfather of current owner, Philip Jonker.
